EXCERPT---- The German Federal Ministry for the Environment has denied that Merkel's govt donation to the Clinton Foundation was linked to Hillary's election.

The Ministry confirmed the transaction took place and insisted the money was to provide "financing under the International Climate Protection Initiative (ICI)".

The ministry also claimed the public funds served to "support forestry and landscape renaturation in East Africa". German taxpayers are also funding Clinton Foundation projects that involve the "restoration of forest ecosystems" in India, Kenya, El Salvador, Mexico, Vietnam, Uganda and Peru – according to reports.

ADDENDUM: In 2011, Podesta’s leaked emails show that former President Bill Clinton had raised over $1 billion though the foundation to rebuild 100 villages in India, but only $53 million was spent on the project. (hat tip The Stream)

I had a Haitian man tell me that they loved the Clintons because they had spent a lot of money to rebuild Haiti. He could not understand that they had raised a huge amount of money and had only spent a fraction of what they could have and they kept the rest.
