There’s a war story making the rounds that after the Iowa primary caucuses Jeff Roe called Corey Lewandowski and gave him some sage advice about what Roe was seeing in New Hampshire polls.
The Cruz campaign had decided not to compete in NH but wanted Trump to slow Rubio’s roll there.
Apparently the Trump campaign was persuaded to change its messaging there from negative to positive based on Roe’s advice and got a good result.
Roe is a sharp guy so it would not surprise me if he goes to work for Trump.
