Bless her heart.
Good thing this lady was caught. Mrs. Hernandez would have missed her little Jesus.
She actually has a point...
Like Melissa and Aldon.
Not a ping worthy?
“Police say a woman stole baby Jesus from a Nativity scene in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and dropped the figurine off at a hospital with a note explaining that the baby had been “neglected” by his parents, “Joseph and Mary Christ.””
Was CPS called?
I suspect we’ll see a spate of these cray-cray events, now that there are fewer Trump signs to steal. The Looney left in overdrive.
Not very ironic that this took place in Bethlehem [PA]
There are church supply houses that will overnight replacement baby Jesus’. Definitely a niche bidness.
Is it wrong to ask that they nail the baby down?
I hope she is just as concerned about the neglected babies/children in her neighborhood/town not to mention the ones who were not given the chance to live. I think her joke falls flat. The figure, if it does have a broken foot should not be on display unless it is in perfect condition. Jesus deserves better. The people in charge of the display had a whole year to repair or replace it no matter if it is an expensive figure.
I come from a different place. I love the fact that the statue is *shabby chic* ... IMHO it shows that it was well used. I don’t call that disrespectful.
Someone could have knitted booties for it.
Yes, that would be wrong.
Just replace it with a 1500 watt light bulb.
The Libertarian streak in me, loathes security cams; but without them, we wouldn’t have silly threads like this.
Merry Christmas tumble!
You’re absolutely right! I had forgotten that.
IIRC the Magi started, way far away from the manger, and gradually made their way closer and closer, night after night, a little closer to the crib.
It’s a sign of the times. We need instant gratification.
But His Father (God Christ?) truly loves Him.
Mt 2:11
11 ¶And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
The Wise men came to see him long after he was born and placed in the manger. The young family were in a house by the time the Wise men came, about two years after He was born.
