nope. It’s hilarious, I read at noon Mass, they generally arrive late and sit in front on the far left [near an exit incase they need to beat a hasty retreat] So Gord comes in and sees me reading at the lectern and he’s wildly gesticulating and pointing from his vantage point there. Once he learns the word Grammy, I expect to hear my name called too.

Don’t know if all parishes do it or if it’s an Italian thing but yesterday was the blessing of the baby Jesus’s from people’s home nativities. Gord brought his little Fisher Price baby Jesus to be blessed.
I kNOW! someone on Twitter said they hoped it wasn’t our Franz Ferdinand moment and that’s exactly what I thought of when I heard the news.
Oh, how sweet is that? I always get the FP nativity for special little ones. Cannot wait to buy it for my own grandchild.
Beams are going in at the restaurant. Ceilings are all vaulted, insulated and painted. They ordered pine trees to use as supports for the beams. Cannot wait to see it all done. They have a tool to take the bark off. I am guessing it will look a bit lodgy with this décor. Modern lodge I would say.
