“Researchers from Italy’s International School for Advanced Studies conducted a statistical analysis.” Statistics doth not make a real model. It depends on what they are measuring and the assumptions used in the computer model. Every assumption is guaranteed to be based on a universe “billions and billions of years old.” Why not trillions? False premises running rampant. Nonsense.

Don’t Statistical Mechanics fix that stuff down at the shop? It’s a dirty business. Especially if you do it at home under the shade trees.

“Statistics doth not make a real model.”

The study isn’t trying to build a model. It is presenting results inconsistent with the predictions of the Standard Model. If the results are replicable, then it may be that there is a .9xxx probability that the Standard Model is at least incomplete, if not wrong.
