A moose once licked my sister.
They’re licking the road salt off the cars.
Ho,ho ho
Merry Chris moose
Countdown to wacked out environmentalists calling for regulation of salt content in road salt, armed with with scientific consenus that it causes moose hypertension. Do it for the poor little moose chilluns.
It’s cheaper than going to the car wash.
Take a moose to Tim Horton’s and word gets around.

Way off topic...
Apart from a number of elephants I’ve seen in East Africa the biggest.most impressive, creatures I’ve ever seen “close up” (meaning within about 50 yards) are several moose I saw on the Trans Canada Highway in eastern Manitoba and western Ontario.I wish I had taken photos...big suckers. They were just standing there at the tree line which was surprising close to the highway.
I’ve had horses eat the paint on my truck.........
Whoo Hoo! I think someone created the first keyword attributed to me. amooselickedmysister.
Seems like this behavior would be well known for decades. If it is important to keep the Moose from hampering drivers from reaching their vehicles, why isn’t it standard practice to put bins of salt away from the parking areas so the moose will go there instead ?
All this advisory does is warn people not to try to push the moose away. So if the moose is taking an hour to lick salt off your car you are just supposed to wait until it leaves before approaching your car ? That’s a poor solution to a long-standing and well-known seasonal problem.
Eek!
