FULL TITLE: Three children are found living in a home covered in feces just steps away from decomposing remains of dogs that had been starved to death
A Georgia couple have been arrested after police say they found the badly decomposing bodies of dead dogs on their property and their three young children living in filth.
An Animal Control officer acting on a tip arrived on Sunday at the Rex home of Ki-Kito Riki Townsend and Kristina Leigh Prince and discovered the decaying remains of two puppies and a dog, according to a press release by the Clayton County Police.
The stomach-turning find was made shortly before 2pm in the 5800 block of Whitney Way, where a Good Samaritan had spotted earlier a dead dog lying in a cage.
The responding officer came upon two dead puppies in an enclosure located in the backyard of Townsend and Prince's residence and an adult dog in a separate area on the property.
A preliminary investigation uncovered that all three canines had been starved to death, according to police.
It is believed the puppies found rotting in the cage were six to eight months old, and that they were dead for more than 48 hours prior to their discovery.

The first thing the police said that, no recreational use of drugs was involved.
These people were serious about using drugs.
Ki-Kito Riki Townsend, 33, has been charged with cruelty to children and animal cruelty after police in Georgia say they found children living in filth inside his home and the remains of three dogs
Looks as though it was a nice house.....
School age children but this goes unreported? Nobody heard hungry dogs barking? Not one nosy neighbor?
Where is Rex, GA?
Ki-Kito was just turning his life around. He just hung around with the wrong people at the wrong tome. He loved his kids and was going to start his HVAC college program.
Go fetch me a ladder!
