I currently have two Golden Retrievers, but have had cats in the past.
I had one Siamese for 18 years that was a terror to anyone but me. She was originally my wife’s cat before we married and I had a dog. She didn’t particularly like me at first and it took her awhile to warm up to the dog, but they ended up being best friends.
As time went on she became attached to me and would attack my wife when she yelled at me, LOL.
I like cats because they’re fuzzy homicidal maniacs.

I’m looking at getting a pride of cats. The difference is, I’m looking at getting semi-feral, outdoor varmint controllers.
It’s hilarious. And I’m deplorable.

Bunch of silliness. There’s nothing unmanly about owning a cat. I’ve had a few of them over the years. They are great for keeping mice out of the house too.

I don’t have to grab mine. It comes right to me when it wants attention.
But playtime with a cat doesn't involve rough-housing and playing fetch outside in the yard, walkies around the property, and the sort of playtime activities that would result in the destruction of my living room if I did them with a dog.
I can play with my cats while sitting at the computer, watching television, reading my Kindle ... every morning they join me in the bathroom while I'm shaving, attacking the strange cats that they see in the mirror, playing in the water left in the tub after my shower ...
There are times, though, that I miss my old basset hound, Shadrack: running though the woods after him when he was on a rabbit trail or wrestling with him in the front yard. Sometimes, I just wish I were twelve years old again.

I got responses from 50 women. I dated 12 including a smoking hot redhead that I took to a cat show on our first date.
We’ve been happily married ever since.
I've had one who would bring them INTO the house. Alive. As their own pets.
