Jones failed swim / dilbert dunker in the morning, we (19 of us) are at chow with 5 USMC DI’s, all characters, all E-7 and above. All funny but we would never ever crack a smile in their presence.
Master Gunnery SGT Berup: “Jones!”
Jones: “Here Sir!”
Master Gunnery SGT Berup: “Jones! Did you fail swim today?”
Jones: “Yes Sir!”
Master Gunnery SGT Berup: “Jones! How long were you in the Navy before you came here?”
Jones: “11 years Sir!”
