Sad. Hope he repented.
Lord have mercy.
Is there any hope the plane can be repaired?
unless he repented, he was here one second and in hell the next sadly-= people have no idea how horrible hell is going to be- they make light of it but the second they descend to it- they know instantly they made a terrible terrible mistake
That moment that he knew the plane was going to crash and he was going to die did he repent and pray for deliverance?
Don’t agree with his lack of faith, but this sad to hear.
Prayers for him and his family.
not your typical atheist...he believed in hard corporal punishment

Nah; that too was shot to hell
I hope so!
Oh boy, I am tired and sleepy and somehow put an “a” after our next president’ name in my tagline.
Fixing it now!
...not if he died
Well i guess there will be no service or eulogy for him.
I will give him a proper atheist eulogy.
Robert Sherman, like all of us, was just a cosmic accident. Just a random, animate piece of carbon life that existed for awhile, did stuff, and then became inanimate. He may or may not have had what he felt were friends, or family, but none of that matters or is of any importance, because their lives held no,real purpose or meaning, just like his did. In the big picture of the universe, whether he existed or not, makes absolutely no difference, because ultimately, nothing matters.
And so we can take a moment to remember him, or not. Either way, it doesn’t matter. He was here, now hes gone, hes never coming back, and it wouldnt have mattered if he never existed in the first place.
The end.
Amen. I wouldn’t wish hell on anyone, except those for which it was made - Satan and his co-rebelling angels. Sadly, it is filled with unrepentant sinners, who could have spent eternity in Heaven, had they only humbled themselves and accepted the Lord.
“can they ever wake up and pray to go “Home,” as in Heaven, and be accepted? I hope so.”
No, unfortunately. Jesus tells of a rich man who died and was in torment. There is no rescue. “...nor can anyone cross from there to us.” (Luke 16:26)
The Rich Man and Lazarus
Luke 16:19-31. Also John 5:39-47.
19 Now there was a rich man dressed in purple and fine linen, who lived each day in joyous splendor. 20 And a beggar named Lazarus lay at his gate, covered with sores 21 and longing to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich mans table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 One day the beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abrahams side. And the rich man also died and was buried. 23In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham from afar, with Lazarus by his side.
24 So he cried out, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. For I am in agony in this fire.
25 But Abraham answered, Child, remember that during your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things. But now he is comforted here, while you are left to suffer. 26 And besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that even those who wish cannot cross from here to you, nor can anyone cross from there to us.
27 Then I beg you, father, he said, send Lazarus to my fathers house, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them so they will not also end up in this place of torment.
29 But Abraham replied, They have Moses and the prophets; let your brothers listen to them.
30 No, father Abraham, he said, but if someone is sent to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 Then Abraham said to him, If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.
Very Douglas Adams-ish.
Not according to the Bible.
This ‘Hades’ is not, the ‘hell’ fire that destroys the soul. That hell has not yet been created... Eternity is not going to be listening to the wails and moans of the souls that refuse to love the Creator. The ‘rebel’ souls after Judgment Day will be willingly destroyed not even to be remembered. Only the devil and a numbered of his fallen angels have been sentenced to death of their ‘soul’. We have no idea who else will join them.
Gee that’s too bad.
