"Trillions" (10 to the 12th) is a vanishingly small number in terms of the spontaneous generation of life.

there still could be intelligent species in trillions of stars

and it would be refreshing to learn that there ARE some intelligent species SOMEWHERE (critters who have at least enough brains not to elect the likes of Obama{Pelosi)
