I saw this article over on FB. Just a long-winded way of saying the chair he’s sitting on is in bad taste.
Or, Jewish progressives, having a breakdown.
Is it the same chair on the Hillary-wins cover of the magazine that was sent to the stores in advance?
Haaretz = Moonbat Commie rag for self-hating, anti-Zionist Jews.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
I think my favorite part of this pretentious article is the lengthy explanation of America in decay, in debt, stagnated, in deep financial crisis -— and somehow implying that it’s Trumps fault he hasn’t fixed all that prior to taking office.
The liberals at time hate Trump and willingly took all the liberties they could to trash him.
They have just started. For the next 4 years, they will find creative ways to delegitimize him.
The pose, to me, represents a "different posture" than we are used to seeing (not just another politician). The chair is his..elegant leather, a symbol of his personal endeavors and achievements. He is more important than TIME, thus his portrait super imposes over it.
I can make Fake News just as easily as any other blogger.
The first thing he should do is get rid of the commies in the FCC and then do an anti trust media breakup. We need to break up the mainstream media ownership so it can eventually be more diverse in opinion.
The media and Hollywood literally has coordinated mind control on half the population. It needs to be broken into many small and more regional entities.
It is definitely as negative a cover as they could do on Trump. Visually speaking, we see the back of the chair and Trump is also seen as if turning around, glaring at the camera, as if there is a secret about the harm he will bring to the country.
In comparison, previous “persons of the year” were often smiling at the camera in as positive a pose as possible.
I know this is not a characteristic image of what Republicans think, because I don’t see Trump this way. But we should be aware of how the media is still slanting things against Trump.
There are so many images of Trump smiling with his “Make American Great Again” hat on. That would have been a much more positive image.
Previous winners have included Joseph Stalin (1939, 1942), Ayatollah Khomeini (1979), Adolf Hitler (1938), and other figures who I think it is safe to assume the Time staff does not endorse.
I am not so sure.
If this had been LBJ in the 1960’s he’d be sitting on a toilet.
Their frustration is delicious.
They missed another obvious element:
Somebody went through the trouble of rendering Trump’s face in half-shadow. And they obscured his front.
It’s Similar to the effect Coppola manufactured in Apocalypse Now — where he illustrated Colonel Kurtz’s immersion in the Heart of Darkness.
Drivel.....IMHO.
Mail Order Psychologist. Just send $29.95 and 3 Fruit Loops boxtops to.......

More like why no one reads Time magazine!
I could care less what they think.
He’s on the cover and whiny babies are not.
