Even if the writers of Star Wars: Rogue One hadn’t decided to shoot their mouths off in veiled attacks on Trump, I’d pass on this movie. I am fine with women in leading roles, but not in every single movie. Men are disappearing from action movies as heroic leads, while little girls defy reality and the laws of physics beating up men twice their size cast as the villains.

The status of Hollywood since Bill Clinton was elected the first time. All movies and TV series since then were changed to the new normal overnight. Since then I get all of my news from FR and watch a lot of the western channel and the outdoor channel, occasional sports (no ESPN).

The new bias has gotten to Disney as well. When was the last Disney animated movie where the main character was a male child? I can’t think of one off hand.
What are the little guys supposed to look at during all those Ice Shows? Magical Princess girls in ballgowns everywhere, but not too many positive role models for the boys.
