Darn right. No runner has eye in the back of the head and wearing HEADPHONES will cut of the SOUND of approaching footsteps. Never forget the HEARING as well as SEEING is a critical part of the human defense mechanism.
It’s like a teen blasting the car audio so loud he/she never heard the horn of the approaching truck.
