Christmas is a US Holiday commmerorating the birth of a great person, Jesus Christ. It is not a Holiday commemorating a Jew Holiday, or Muslim Holiday, or any other Holiday.
Like the Holidays we have for Columbus, Lincoln, Washington, Martin Luther King etc., Christmas is a day that celebrates CHrist’s birth. Therefore, I fail to see why depictions of his birth in public places is wrong.
Saying Merry Christmas is just that.

No, it is not a U.S. holiday. It is a religious holiday. Perhaps it is your holiday, if not mine. For that, I wish you a wonderful holiday.
Actually ‘Christmas’ is a celebration of HIS conception... The shortest day of sun light on this earth God was with us on this earth. His birth was near the fall equinox. Christians either believe what HE said or else they do not. It is HIS conception that tells us that ‘life’ begins at conception...
