If I recall, the 85,000 votes were Non-Votes for President. Votes were cast for down ballot candidates, but none for President. I think the last election there were 45 K Non-votes for President or something close to that.

That’s what I heard too, but some Dims are claiming that was the total for Detroit alone. Looking at the “official” results, the accusation is crap.

Typical of the MSM, isn’t it? How “85,000 people not voting” for president can turn into “85,000 uncounted votes.” But recounters in Michigan have been instructed that no mark in the target area = no vote.

They’re going to try to determine voter intent on ballots that undervoted for President. Just like Florida, 2000.

Oh and by intent, we mean, clearly they meant to vote for Hillary, and just forgot.

If you take a ballot for Trump and add a vote for Hillary to it you end up with a non-vote for President. Look at the absentees and see if there are two votes for President on any ballots. If so, you can bet the ballot was for Trump, especially if that voter voted for other Republican candidates.
