Please note that “allowing” the states to define who can marry whom is not a matter of opinion.

Hypothetically speaking, and state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices aside, even if all citizens supported gay marriage, the Founding States had made the 10th Amendment to clarify that the Constitution’s silence about marriage means that there is nothing stopping each state from making its own rules for marriage.

But this was wrongly ignored by the activist justices who stole state powers to legalize gay “marriage" from the bench.
