I'll second that. I lived there from '72-'77. Monty Python, The Goodies, and Fawlty Towers always kept my family amused. And The Benny Hill show.

The Goodies...ah yes,some great stuff there, remember the “pet babysitting service”?...rolling that huge bamboo basket down the street collecting
pets....no way that greatdane wanted to get into the basket with that giant python rubber or not....LOL

I was in Canada during that period, watching the CBC. In addition to the programs mentioned, The Two Ronnies was good, as was the precursor to Amerca's Three's Company, Man About the House. But I have to confess, my guilty pleasure was Clochemerle.
