Since I don’t much care for Verstappen (way too aggressive, should be penalized more) or Hamilton (can’t post my full opinion here, but also drives too aggressive), I would actually like to see them paired together. The wrecks they would have with each other in turn 1 of every race would be worth it.

But, if Mercedes is committed to Hamilton long term, they will take someone like Wehrlein or another driver who is expected to play the role of cardboard-cutout “B” driver. Hamilton is a self-centered diva who doesn’t want to share anything with anyone.

When there was a tangle with Lewis and Nico, it always appeared to most Nico was the one pushing a weak position.

Aggressive driving...let’s see. Mansell, Schumacher, both I would call aggressive. But I never saw Mansell intentionally steer a disabled car to the center of the track to take out his nemesis. I’d put Ham in the same category as Mansell. Rosberg would go in the Schumacher’s.

Mercedes will buy whoever they want and if they want Verstappen, they’ll get him. They aren’t going to want to cultivate a driver since Hamilton appears to have gone a bit wobbly with his jet-set rockstar BS. His little honeymoon with Justin Bieber...WTH?!?! Look at it from Mercedes POV, do you really think they want Verstappen on the other guys team next season?
