Secularists are not necessarily anti-Christmas, but the radicals in their ranks are. At the top of the list is FFRF. Its tactics are twofold: If religious Christmas symbols and events cannot be banned, secular symbols and events must compete with them. Consider the following.
For many years, the northern Michigan town of Menominee has displayed a nativity scene on public property. It was taken down this year after a complaint by FFRF. Chicagos Daley Square has long been host to a life-size nativity scene, and in recent years that spot has been shared with a display by FFRF: it is celebrating seasonal climate changes (the change from autumn to winter means a lot to these people); it is also saluting freedom from religion. Both the religious and the secular displays are now up.
FFRF reflexively chooses censorship over competition. It feels at home with censorial tactics because that is what it is good at (it is now threatening the city of St. Bernard, Ohio with a lawsuit over its crèche). But when that fails, faux competition is its default position. For example, the local Chicago chapter of FFRF explains its dummy secular display by saying the holidays should be all-inclusive. But they are not.
With the exception of national holidays, such as the 4th of July and Thanksgiving, most holidays are properly exclusionary in nature.
Martin Luther King Day celebrates the contributions of this American civil rights leader. No one else is celebrated on his holiday; to do so would be to neuter his heroics. Similarly, Veterans Day excludes all non-veterans from its celebrations. If everyone were included, it would negate the honors that veterans deserve.

These are all short, well put together videos (usually 3-5 minutes) by well known conservatives (from Dennis Prager himself, to Steven Crowder and Victor Davis Hansen!) on a HUGE variety of topics and historical perspectives...Check them all out here at All Prager University Videos!
Need a new organization to deal with those meddling closet Satanists. How about Freedom from the Freedom from Religion Foundation?
It’s “The Holidays” now.
President-Elect Donald Trump just mentioned “CHRISTMAS” twice during his speech at Carrier today. How REFRESHING is that? !!!!!
Trump's speech at Carrier today was breath-taking (for lack of a better word). Trump is as unconventional as a speaker can be. Trump is Trump. Nobody else like him. He cuts through the cr*p and gains respect for doing so. Carrier employees' Christmas just got brighter, and Trump said he wants to see Carrier's sales figures 6 months from now because their "good will" for staying in America will pay off in huge sales rewards. Time to buy stock in United Technologies Corp. LOL
When I was an atheist, I loved Christmas. Nativity scenes were just part of the history of the holiday. How could they be offensive?
If we allow the secularists to “PC” us into censoring Christmas, yes, it will become the new normal.
We’ve got these worms vastly outnumbered, and they should just be ignored.
Don’t deal with businesses who Torah, or, ignore, Christmas. Buy, and send, only Christmas cards that recognize Christmas. None of this “winter solstice”, or “winter holiday” crap.
Put up, and be proud of your Christmas trees and other decorations.
The way to beat these people is to deny them the ability to cow us down.
FFFRF
HAHAHAHAHA...I saw what you did there!
I ring the bell for SA at Walmart and I wear that phrase out.
Re : Post #4
*Its The Holidays now.*
Yes, I see what you mean - a holiday for the atheist crowd and their enablers in the media!
Wait until Eater Sunday rolls around when President Trump gives his Address to the Nation - he will invoke the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, and many leftists heads will implode!
Thank you. I really appreciate the Salvation Army (Screw the Red Cross) and give money every single time I see one.
I don’t say “Happy Holidays”.
When my son was in college he was asked by an atheist to put away a bible and he asked them:
“If all we are is food for the worms and everything we do is for nothing, why does it matter to you what I believe?”
He could not get an answer and the fool just walked away.
I have been sending the ACLU Chrisrmas cards for years, I guess I need to add this group also. I usually find the most Religious card I can find.
