Three observations of the story.
1. Merkel was not involved in the transfer or deal....this was conducted by a ministry within the government which is run by the SPD (center-left)...the partner party to Merkel’s CDU. The minister in charge of the agency probably did not brief Merkel. No evidence presented so far would suggest that Merkel knew...maybe later, such evidence will occur.
2. Roughly 93-percent of the yearly funding of the Clinton Foundation goes to rent costs, operations, staff, and salary (like to Chelsea). ONLY 6-to-7 percent goes to charities or anything related to actual charity events. If you ask anyone within the Germany government, about the statistic (readily available)....none know this fact. So, when they state it’s for something related to tree-planting....then 93-percent of the $5 million had nothing to do with trees. It might be a shocker to the German public.
3. The real big question is....just how many times and how many ministries within the German government gave the Clinton Foundation grants over the past decade? No one knows. It could be one....it could be one-hundred.
So far, this story has not surfaced in state-run TV news in Germany. It’s mentioned in the Welt (print-publication) and one or two other print products. It’s obviously something connected to lobbyists and you’d think that it’d be talked about in public. Yet nothing.
The Australian newspaper the "Herald Sun" ran an October article entitled, “Why have we donated to Clinton’s foundation?” The paper noted "Former Prime Minister Gillard donated $300 million of our money to the Clinton-affiliated Global Partnership for Education.”
That's one humongous amt of Australian govt money that fell into the hands of the conniving Clintons.
The Herald Sun needs to dig deeper---to determine if any of that money took a circuitous route then landed back into the personal coffers of the donors. Could have happened like this:
BACKSTORY When he went to jail, investigators found Ponzi King Bernie Madoff had stashed billions offshore-----into a labyrinth of financial entities.
COLLUSION AND CONSPIRACIES GALORE Some $8.9 billion was funneled to Madoff through a dozen so-called feeder funds based in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America......a labyrinth of hedge funds, management companies and service providers that, to unsuspecting outsiders, seemed to compose a formidable system of checks and balances.
But the purpose of this complex architecture was just the opposite: the feeder funds provided different modes for directing money to Madoff in order to avoid scrutiny.
Hopefully, German electorate and federal investigators will learn of this and will react appropriately.
I would love to see Hillary and Bill's Foundation get involved in international crimes and have Germany ask the US to extradite her to Germany to stand trial. That would be even better than seeing her standing trial in the USA for what she has done. I like the idea of her and Bill going down in History as international criminals.
