That is a great point, and one I brought up to my husband the other day. If I were Podesta I’d probably have come out with proof that I wasn’t in Portugal. But ever the lawyer, he told me the burden is not on John Podesta to prove anything. He said to substantiate it in that way would only feed the fire.
I am actually very interested in the allegations brought up by PizzaGate - if there is real evidence, I want to see it. But so far the materials put forth on the web about it all claim to have a lot of evidence, and in the end they do not live up to that claim. That does not mean something new won’t come to light. But as I said once or twice today, these are extraordinary claims - and they do require extraordinary evidence.
Someone could file a FOIA request with US Customs & Border Patrol for any records of Podesta travel in relevant time period.
