This entire process is more about delegitimizing Trump than anything else.
The longer the “Greens” and Clintonoids can prolong this, the more nasty news reports, editorials, etc.
Count me as thoroughly sick of it.

I’ve been saying the same. They will find anomalies. The media will turn this into a circus. They need to cast doubt on the entire electoral system. They believe, based on the popular vote totals, the majority of Americans will agree the electoral college needs to be thrown out.

This isn’t as much about Trump as it is a threat to our constitutional republic.

I think part of their game plan is that they would love to get him below 300 EV. It’s a huge psychological barrier - everyone knows he needed 270 and his winning total actually has a “3” as the first digit, which gives the impression of a landslide in many minds. They’d love to get his total down so they can say he “barely” won the EV.
