We had an obnoxious, self important liberal at Thanksgiving dinner. She brags about how she controls her household, makes all the decisions and tells her husband what to do.
A friend and I were talking about how great the stock market was doing and I said it was due to Trump. We then talked about the media bias and how upset all the media talking heads are about Trumps victory.
She practically went crazy. Her face turned beet red. She was clenching her fists and almost yelling "She won the popular vote."
Of course we ignored her and kept on talking about how great Trump's win was for America.
Wish you were in my family. Good explanation for the college libs.
Several months ago I was whining that I’d rather have two honest different ideology people running (Bernie and Trump). I didn’t think a criminal such as Hill should even be allowed (by law or votes) to run. I believed that in the marketplace of ideas, we would win. But I wasn’t considering the enemedia. We can’t win until we put it into its place, as a known propaganda machine. We dodged a bullet. Half the country still doesn’t believe Hillary’s crimes men’s are anything more than “they all do it.”
Huh?
bump
Half the country still doesnt believe Hillarys crimes mens are anything more than they all do it.
Everyone at the table was a Trumper. It was happy, soft and easy.
The discussions kept sliding into political talk. My wife, my youngest son and I are conservative. My eldest son sort of is, but he has been corrupted by his bleeding heart wife. She is a sweetheart, but she quietly thinks Trump is a horrible, horrible person. She talked my son into not voting at all.
Every time the election came up, one of my sons would say, “hey, no political talk!”
It seemed that no matter what I said it was being interpreted as political talk.
Finally, after being chastised for the umpteenth time, I growled...
“I don’t see any of your names on the mortgage bill. Or the electric bill. Or the water bill. When you start paying those, you can tell me what I can talk about in my house.”
No problems after that.
Lots of Trump-bumps and
Trump wine at our Trumpsgiving. The two #crookedhillary and naive Gary Johnson voters never mentioned it. We tried to keep our Trump conversations among our own 'tribe' so as not to appear boorish to the young skulls full of mush.
