Keke was simply the coolest. Recall Dallas, the most grueling race ever, half the drivers crashed out, the track came up all over the place, the fans were melting-—at the end Mansell was passed out on the pavement and there was Keke, helmet in one hand, a lit Marlboro in the other, strolling toward the podium like that’s the way it should always be.
100%... first race i saw him run was Can/Am, and i knew he had the hot shoe
It's been ages, but I recall a race where they had to lift Mansell out of the cockpit, he was that beat. Was that Dallas, or just SOP for him in the later days?
