Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell told WDRB-TV that officers arriving at the park found two black males with gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Mitchell.
Nope, just the usual.
Must’ve been a white racist that shot them. Right?
Louisville has been in some kind of meltdown this year. There were 48 murders in all of 2011, and 2016 has already seen over 100. Definitely not a good trend.
Media desperately searching for an alt-right angle as we speak.
Shawnee Park Juice Bowl games..... A series of youth football games.
They’ve been taking the loss of Native Son, Muhammad Ali pretty hard.
Two blacks shot? Sounds like a gang bang to me.
Louisville is my hometown, I grew up right outside Jefferson County, and still like to visit. It’s an historic river city with lots of cool places to visit, great dining, unique neighborhoods. Problem is, it’s liberal as hell in certain parts-the Highlands, Frankfort Ave, Clifton, Old Louisville, and the heavily African American populated area of the west end.
The mayor, Greg Fischer, is a Grade A liberal wimp who has effectively blocked effective law enforcement and has allowed gang violence to escalate into a low intensity war within the city. As much as I love my hometown, I don’t see anything changing soon. This is the same city that voted long terms for Jerry Abramson and voted in ultra liberal Boston liberal Harvey Sloane back in the 1970’s.
Before the city/county merger, Louisville was liberal blue, while most of Jefferson County trended red. Thankfully, the suburbs and exurbs of Louisville are very conservative.
Lemme guess...
However the baseball fields which are right next to the football fields stayed nice and baseball became more popular than it was before.
