Most parade coverage has devolved into two hour long commercials of the latest insipid shows and perverted pop culture crap.
Oh, and in between you see some floats and hear some marching bands.
That is exactly why we aren't watching it this year. The tv is off. Everyone else is sleeping in and won't be up until dinner.
