Rosie O'Donnell sparked an uproar on Twitter by sharing a video that speculates about President-elect Donald Trump's 10-year-old son, Barron, possibly being autistic.
"Barron Trump Autistic?" she asked.
"[I]f so, what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic," the tweet read.
The actress/comedian, who very publicly feuded with Trump starting in 2006, was immediately criticized for bringing up the subject.

I have seen upset frustrated autistic or Aspergers so sad cause they don’t fit in and it just kills the parents to see their child’s anguish

I got five kids and nine dependents and I wish mine had none of the issues or traits they struggle to manage
It’s sad for me to watch those I love suffer with little recourse..
And if I wish to think it’s sad when kids get dealt a tough hand dealt by God I can think that without being judged by the high and mighty
And yes I believe the isolation of serious autism is sad....very sad and yes it is something I know about personally

Is it ok to Sister Superior if we call this sad?....it’s sad to me...in fact I get misty looking at the suffering...I am extremely empathetic to the suffering of children dogs and horses
.....it is sad.....reasonable folks think suffering children are sad....it’s also sad to watch the despair of the parents as they do all they can often futile
Recognizing sad things is what separates us largely from beasts...
What we witnessed here is language suppression due to an overreach of the pro life movement ....I consider myself anti abortion not prolife precisely because of overreaches like this and others ...whereby it’s not PC to say children born with possibly serious disabilities is sad if they suffer

IIRC, one of Trump’s staff who’s been with him for decades (butler?) said that, out of all DJT’s kids, Barron is the one most like him. The school he attends is a regular private school.
There are video clips of him interacting with the older children and he’s fine. They weren’t taken at 3:00 a.m. after a long stressful day as on election night. Poor kid; he’s in for some rough stuff from the MSM and Hollywood. Their policy of not attacking the POTUS children will go out the window with Trump.
For God’s sake....it was like 2;00 A.M. when they all came out!! The boy was TIRED!!!

Yes as someone who not only teaches special needs but has a special needs child as my heart, I am sensitive about any one thinking they are sad. Glad you don’t think such in your clarified comment.

Why not just get to know the kid and see his true value as a unique individual?
I hate this labeling people, and some labels make you more “worthy” in the eyes of the labelers.
I can more clearly see why Trump called Rosie a pig (or whatever he called her that outraged some people)
