Can’t beat it out of him. That never works and severy damages that parent/child relationship. AND it closes the door on credibility that parent may have had on even influencing that child, later.
The desire to WANT to beat some good sense into his head is purely understandable! Bit it’s an emotion that one can’t act upon with any good results.
