I must respectfully disagree. I've asked quite a few questions here, both political and non-political. And 95% of the responses I've gotten were kind and helpful. And I've answered quite a few questions here from others. My last response was about the best kind of TV antenna to buy.
That is one of the strengths of Free Republic. But a new fellow should probably just observe for a few months before asking a question...get to know the lingo, and all that.
pardon my light sarcasm... true there are some who do respond prffesionally. but in almost 20 tears ive seen my share of a****les as well.
