well....the whole idea behind GMO’s is no-till farming.

You kill everything in the field with Roundup, except your grain which has been modified to resist Roundup.

It then grows to maturity in a field, taking in water and nutrients in a field spiked with Roundup.

These results seem wholly logical to me.

That’s how all agriculture works. Weeds are killed either by chemicals or by cultivation. Round-Up isn’t perfect, but it beats the Hell out of 2,4-D or triazene herbicides which it largely replaced.

FYI for Asian rice growers, to grow rice traditionally by flooding to kill weeds is how we grow organic rice. The bad news is that it has a lower yield,and produces lots of methane, a greenhouse gas.

so do you want to be poisoned by chemicals or die of global warming?
