You know, I agree. And it was very close. It almost went in the other direction, and make no mistake: if the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) had been successful in single-handedly dragging Hillary across the finish line (as they were desperately trying to do) they would have been totally ascendant, literally reeling with power. They would have been so full of themselves. Their power, in their own minds and also based on the evidence (the election result) would have felt vindicated. They would have been confirmed as masters of "manufacturing consent" and acting as a State Propaganda apparatus for the establishment Regime.
That is why what just happened is truly a Revolution (and hopefully actually a counter-revolution wherein we return to the Constitutional framework from which we have departed so profoundly.
The next 4-8 years are going to be extremely important, and there will be an ongoing debate which we who elected Donald Trump must be prepared to win and persuade people on the merits.
No shortcuts will be allowed. If this segment of the People wants to continue to have a strong voice in government, everyone is going to have to keep their noses clean.
Inasmuch as we fail to do that, we will furnish the Enemy with ammunition that they will ultimately use to erode the progress that President Trump is about to make...
There’s no more persuading left to do.
If you haven’t seen the writing on the wall by now, then I’m not going to try to force you to see it and read it. Begone with them all.
After 4 years, I am willing to bet that a major percentage of 2016 Hillary voters vote Trump 2020.
This is a long time coming. I was an early freeper.....was at the impeach Clinton rally WAY back when...fought hard for a long time and then kind of burned out. Then the Tea Party happened and I was excited that the movement was growing. This election has so excited me, especially because of the exposure of the clear media bias. There just might be light at the end of the tunnel.
