I’d love to see him direct the secret service to keep the press a mile away from him at all times due to security concerns.
I remember 1993 when President Bill Clinton would sneak away to DC restaurants and then head outside to shake hands with the public. At the time the media pointed to these escapes as indications of how cool he was and a “man of the people”.
Now with Trump it is a “break with protocol” amidst “disarray in his transition team”.
Sometimes I just want to scream.

The same situation involving a democrat would probably be described as “Taking a well-deserved victory lap” or something similar.
Trump is absolute proof that the media has been put in its place and will never be the same. The media can no longer take down a single person. The media has no power. The media will have no power until they absolutely sincerely apologize for their propaganda, and then report the news without bias and treating opinion as fact.
Trump could kick them out, refuse to hold pressers, and not answer any questions or deal with the media at all. He would get away with it all. The media has ZERO POWER anymore. None. They just haven’t realized it. I think very few have realized just how significant a paradigm shift has occurred worldwide. We have without a doubt in my mind witnessed the complete and utter destruction of main stream media.
He is correct. I am cheering.
