This girl comes off as a very snooty, spoiled, arrogant, condescending prick
imagine if we had exchange students within the US - what would happen if say a girl from Santa Monica or Manhattan went to high school for a year in rural Kentucky.
I’m thinking she’d be just as arrogant in the beginning as this smug Berliner.
I once asked a German colleague who did a high school year in some tiny town in PA what was it like ? He answered in his best imitation of Western PA drawl:
“didn’t learn too much from books, but I can now rebuild a 2-barrel carburetor on a Chevy 289; roll a perfect joint; and know the lyrics to every AC-DC by heart”
