Hillary Clinton deleted a 2009 email in which she forwarded classified information to her daughter, Chelsea.
The email was released on Friday by the State Department. It is one of thousands of emails recovered by the FBI from Clinton’s private email server.
The Dec. 20, 2009 email chain, entitled “Update,” started with a message from Michael Froman, who served as a deputy assistant to President Obama and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs.

There is, but it only applies to the little people not the elites. There is no violation under which they will ever be punished. They own the system.
Had I done this (forwarded a classified message to someone) as a young Comm Center Specialist, I would have been court marshaled, and probably spent time in jail. INTENT never would have entered into the equation. My ACTION would have been the only thing that mattered.
Since it was redacted, we don't know if it was marked Confidential.
But, the review determined it was Confidential -- and you are correct, she sent it to someone without clearance.
The fact Chelsea’s name is fake indicates intent, IMHO.
No, use of a pseudonym is normal for Chelsea. She even used one (Anna James) at NYU.
Destroying it is also criminal.

Which was it... did State release it or did the FBI recover it? Or... more likely, did Wikileaks expose it?

And there are literally thousands who have been sent to Federal Prison and lost their careers and pensions for so much less.
That was sent by Michael Froman. It makes me wonder who the redacted email addresses might be in the next forward (also by Froman). It was probably Obama's pseudonym.

There are many, but Hillary is above all that. No matter what comes out now will not be covered so we might as well begin praying and hope Trump has enough ground game Tuesday to bring this home.

No we don’t know if it was marked confidential...but it shouldn’t matter.
Hillary should know whether or not information is considered confidential (or higher), and she should not be given the benefit of the doubt, in a situation where she directed ALL of her State Department correspondence outside of standard (secure) channels.
As an example, if HRC has a conversation with the Prime Minister of Backwaterstan, that conversation is considered confidential - as any conversation with another world leader would be. And, if HRC emails Chelsea about it, of course that email won’t be ‘marked’ - but its still confidential.

That was unintentional. She meant to send ideas on flower arrangements.
True, destroying it is a violation of the Federal Records Act. But she gets a twofer - she destroyed it after a subpoena.
I looked up. The FOIA B6 exemption is “invasion of personal privacy”.
I think its one of the destroyed emails that the State Department found another copy of (from somebody else’s inbox), and handed over to Judicial Watch.
