To: Boogieman
I played “Eighteen” by Alice Cooper the other day for some teenage friends of my daughter they acted like they had never heard anything so wondrous in their lives.
I wish he had more in him like that.
Not that he didn't have other good stuff, but ‘Eighteen’ is just musically perfect in every way a song can be.
I can't think of a note or lyric I would change on it.

Yeah, Cooper was great but inconsistent, a few genius tunes sprinkled through his catalogue but a lot of other his other stuff is kind of lame in comparison. I get the feeling he is one of those artists that worked best with a certain producer or band members and couldn’t recreate the magic later.
