When Hillary worked for the impeachment committee, at the suggestion of her boyfriend Bill Clinton, she was assigned the task of transcribing the White House tapes. Hillary actually enlisted the aid of John Dean, who had just admitted destroying Howard Hunt’s operational diary, to help transcribe the tapes.
The book White House Call-girl by Phil Stanford of the Portland Oregonian reveals the names in the Black Book of a DC Madame named Heidi Rikan who was particularly close to the old LBJ Texas network. Among the names listed are Ben Barnes and John White, the Texas AG Commissioner. Other names include Sam Dash, Lowell Weicker, Barry Goldwater Jr. (Dean’s roommate at military school),Fred Fielding,Robert Strauss, and numerous mob-connected gamblers.
In the summer of 1972, Bill Clinton worked directly with John White and Ben Barnes in the Texans for McGovern campaign. Working alongside Clinton were Hillary, Betsey Wright and Taylor Branch. Taylor Branch would become the ghost-write of John Dean’s book Blind Ambition.
