Campaigning in Florida on Tuesday, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton claimed that she was in New York City on 9/11, when terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center. She made her claim while discussing terrorism and the threat posed by ISIS. “I know what happened not far from here at Pulse night club in Orlando,” she said. “I was in New York City on 9/11 as one of the two senators. I will defeat ISIS. I will protect America.”
But Clinton wasn’t in New York on 9/11, according to Politico.
As a United States Senator she was in Washington D.C. at her home in Whitehaven when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. She spent most of the day reacting to the attacks in media interviews and joined her colleagues singing “God Bless America” on the Capitol Hill steps.
Clinton flew to New York on September 12, after making a speech on the Senate Floor in the morning. She traveled with her fellow New York Senator Chuck Schumer and Democratic Congressman Charlie Rangel.

No, this is nothing new. She has had a hard time with the truth since 1992, and probably before that. In Clintons first year of office she started untrue roomers about the travel staff and had them fired. Then lied about.
Thats why Safire called her a congenital liar. Its been going on since birth.

Liars often have tenuous grip on the truth. Not excusing their lying, but they cannot remember which lies they have told to whom.
Why did she have to tell this lie? EVERYONE knows where they were on 9/11.

She is simply incapable of telling the truth.
With things that are easily verified, she lies effortlessly. Yet it doesn’t dawn on her that maybe someone might check such an innocuous statement.
No, she wasn’t in NYC on 9/11. And neither was I. I remember exactly what I was doing on 9/11, and how exactly I found out what was going on.

She was in New York on 9/11. I saw her on video - collapsing from her debilitating medical issues on 9/11/2016.
Oh, did you think she meant 9/11/2001? Silly person, assuming she meant what her words implied.
That’s what I was thinking. This kind of obvious untruth seems almost like compulsive behavior, almost as though she can’t separate reality from whatever is going on in her head.
