I suppose I should not be surprised, as libtards close in on our rights to differ (Trump supporters being physically attacked, their political posters being stolen or defaced, etc. is a great example), and NYC school system students threaten to submit false statements about their teachers if the teachers don't give them what they want, e.g. let them play with their phones during class, pass virtually everyone whether they turn in any work or not, etc.
It's just a symptom of a society that has become infected with the libtard pathogen of living in LaLaland, with no one having to take responsibility for their actions.
It reminds me of The Cultural Revolution in China, where students would publicly shame their teachers.
Academic freedom is wonderful isn’t it?
On the other hand, this is perfectly civil and acceptable...

If this isn’t the ‘Return of the Body Snatchers’, I don’t know what is. What a sick institution higher education has become.
Yes, chilling indeed.

I guess they don’t see the irony/hypocrisy in that statement.

Undfortunately for this professor, he made the mistake of believing that universities were interested in the Truth; a very silly assumption.
Univerities have always existed to inculcate the young in the currently accepted social dogma.
Any sane or conservative person in higher education needs to understand that they have no backup and no friends. Many will quietly agree with you on matters of political correctness, but they will never stand by you if you are challenged. Most people, from the faculty to the maintenance people, live in terrible fear for their jobs. I have never seen a more vile, vicious, and unhinged group in my life than the social justice warriors in administration. Fascism is alive and well in academia, and it will take generations, or a corrective purge, to clean it up.
