Ashton Brooks, a senior placekicker for the Dow football team in Midland, Michigan, is the number one kicker in her conference. She has also received a partial college scholarship to Northwood University for her skills in soccer as well as a partial academic scholarship. She also has a great singing voice and is on the Dow basketball team.
But despite her success, she is being mocked for her race. Who cares.
Thanks, Ben! Glad you’re keeping us up to date on Shaun King’s opinions.

Ashton Brooks = impressive.
Rude little white gal = lucky she’s not MY daughter.
“Local problem”

Ashton is a very pretty young woman. I don’t know the situation but I hope no one is being disrespectful to her.
What a beautiful young woman!!! The gorilla thing is a disgrace. I could understand criticizing her for playing football, but mocking her race with a gorilla suit? Disgusting.
I don’t know but I’m tired of people being called black when they obviously have other racial makeup....
I’ll give the white blonde girl the benefit of the doubt — somebody snapped a silly HS pic and some unknown schmuck put the lousy label on the pic.
It’s funny how there’s been an explosion of this crap after 8 years of Obama. NOT a coincidence.
I hope you’re right.
She’s as far from looking like a gorilla as you can get.
