It’s obvious you’ve never run a business.
Do you expect the waiters to wait on you for free, use their napkins they pay for and dishes they pay someone to wash for free, sit in a space they’re paying to heat or cool and renting for free and drink their water they pay for for free?
Personally, I think their prices are reasonable for what you get in return. And their endless fries are fantastic.
Are you talking about Red Robin, or Culvers? I have been close enough to running a business. If the people do not like what you are selling at the price you are trying to get, it does not matter about overhead and stuff.
If Red Robin had impressed me with a quality experience, the price would be a little less of an issue. But since that did not happen, I do not feel obligated to help them pay their overhead and make profits.
Actually I do run my own business and have since 1985. Don’t expect anyone to work for free. Compared to other places in our area, we found the cost of the product offered by Red Robin to be excessive. Endless fries are not on the list of must haves for anyone in our family.
You can certainly continue to go to Red Robin. Our family will go to any one of a number of other places and get just as good a hamburger for much less money.
