Donald Trump very publicly showed his support for Newt Gingrich in the wake of his Tuesday night attack on Megyn Kelly, applauding his efforts while speaking at the opening of his newest hotel in Washington DC.
The Republican hopeful was detailing his strong work ethic and how he would put that to use should he be elected president, when he said: 'By the way, congratulations Newt on last night. That was amazing.'
He then added: 'We don't play games Newt? We don't play games.' Donald was joined at the event on Wednesday afternoon by his four oldest children - Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany - as well as wife Melania.
Gingrich, who was also in DC for the hotel opening and sitting in the audience, was asked by reporters if he had any comment about the video earlier in the day, to which he said: 'Just watch it' and 'that's just the business.'
Around that same time he also wrote on Twitter: 'For the record, @MegynKelly was wrong, i don't have anger management issues. I do have media bias issues!'
Kelly has been attacked multiple times in the past by the Trump campaign, most notably after the first Republican primary debate last August.

The sad part about all of this is that some will allow Megyn to make this about herself, and she will play “the victim” again, get some publicity for it.
We have been down that road before.

Her contract with Fox is up after the election. So my guess is she hops networks.
But - Newt ate her lunch last night and she was trying to put words in his mouth by interrupting and he killed her on it.
Newt did shoot Meghan down, deservedly so.
I hope that Mr. Trump will move away from interview with the old moth eaten leftist media guard and give Presidential interviews to conservative journalists who have asked tough questions, but have been fair. I see no value in Trump kowtowing to these heinous biased media people when he is President.
This is the sad sick sorry state of “Feminism” from Clinton to Kelly. Typical “We just as good as the boys” followed quickly by “whaa you cannot be mean to us we are girls”. Kelly, as of the 1st question at the 1st GOP debate, has wanted it both ways she gets to play the attack clown but no one is allowed to point the absurdity in out her clown behavior.

She is a lying left wing hypocrite..she CLAIMS to be a “Champion of women” yet she goes on Howard Stern to talk about how she loves anal sex, loves guys with big well, ya know..and also trashed Kirstie Alley’s weight issues..gee Megyn such a champion of women..of course she will come back and say “Hey I am a private citizen” guess what Meg, at the time, SO WAS TRUMP
