What a pig. And he never could sing worth beans. Genesis (sans Peter Gabriel) was one of the most overrated bands of all time.
I saw him perform in Milwaukee. And, I mean, perform. He did not just sing. He had so much energy and sang for hours. The man was amazing! I may not agree with all of his choices, but he is a showman, a good one, in my opinion.
A Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering were great albums. Gabriel was (and is) very talented, but Collins could also sing the back catalog pretty well (like on the live album Seconds Out).

I just listened to the album "Unorthodox Behaviour" by Brand X and it reminded me what an amazing drummer Phil Collins was (is?). If you don't like his singing, give them a try (Brand X, that is).
He might be a dick, but Genesis was pretty cool.
