He had a few good moments, but I agree. One of our north side nieces shared a bunch of family photos of them in their Cubs gear, many have passed on. She had a picture of my mom I had never seen, decked out in Cubs socks and with a WGN cubs carry bag. Looks like a church seniors bus trip uptown to Wrigley. Scanned from a polaroid, which is what I did for that picture of mom early in your thread. We are from the southeast side 7 blocks from the state line with Indiana. never ran into a White Sox fan, everyone was for the Cubbies. Our parish priest growing up passed a few years before mom wanted to be buried with his cubs cap.
Sorry about your wife. Hope you were feeling her last night. I posted on my homepage yesterday morning about hope and it included not just the Cubs but the election as well. I can feel the pendulum swinging and we are about to win another big one again on Tuesday.
