One of my uncles who did cabinetry and woodwork for a living made beautiful cradles for his daughters and nieces when they were expecting their 1st baby-my cub slept in hers right by my side of the bed for nearly 3 months, then we moved the cradle into in a little alcove in our bedroom- meant for a small desk-until she was a few months older-then we put a crib in the alcove and she slept in that-we didn’t put her into her own room until she was nearly a year old, and it all worked out just fine-babies need to be kept close to their parents early in life-in the far past to keep them from being carried off by predators-and now for bonding and emotional health...
