Sounds like he was already getting paid for the biz anyway, the Ray Donavan stuff he was already doing. What difference is it if the studio guys pay him for cleaning up a star’s mess or a President’s?

In the Enquirer he does say it was unfairness to Trump that made him come forward. But he wouldn’t say it on air with Sean, kind of left Sean hanging there.

He made a similar point in the interview, I think. He thought the public was being disserved by all the salacious material, even admitted that he knew this reason would come off as hypocritical. I get the impression he might be trying to overload the public taste for salacious material, and thereby cause attention to shift to the issues. IIRC, Hannity asked him if he was trying to "level the playing field," and in a way, he is.

He claimed to be a libertarian, and thought that private life, even if dirty, deserved to be kept out of the public eye. That is his stock in trade, trying to accomplish that.

He said he was going to vote for either Crooked or Trump, and smiled when he said he liked Trump.

Clintons appear to have a fix-it team at work on FR.
