This is a bell curve. It is the main discovery of statistics - the one that made it an actual science. Not any particular bell curve, just the idea of a bell curve. There's always a bell curve, and it can always be cut in half. Most sane people look to the right half - the one above the midline, the one with higher numbers, representing greater progress. But there is ALWAYS a left half - the one representing the lower numbers, and lesser progress.

Here's the thing to remember: Democrats pursue the LEFT side of the bell curve. ONLY. Statistics - the science - guarantees it will ALWAYS be there.

Worth contemplating. Politically speaking, a necessary contemplation indeed.
