There may not have technically been a ‘stand down’ order, but there was never a ‘go’ order which amounts to the same thing. Forces had prepared to cross borders but weren’t allowed to, so the lack of a ‘go’ order resulted in those forces standing down. It was her responsibility to get that order from the president.
As for the inadequate security funds arguement, it was Hillary’s job to protect that facility. If she knew she couldn’t, she had the obligation and ability to SHUT IT DOWN.
She doles out excuses like she was some low-level lackey just watching classified emails and warnings about lax security go by. She was the CEO of the state dept for God’s sake. She simply did not know how to do her job!
And now she wants a tougher one.
