My ship searched for Soviet SSBN’s for months in the western part of the Sargasso Sea and the Bermuda Triangle. Never one odd occurrence.
You apparently would know much more about the underwater geography...and I took a look, it sure does seem like it would be somewhere subs would go.
I read somewhere that if you wanted to visualize the part of an ocean that submarines made for warfare (not deep see diving vessels) can access, stand in a room with an eight foot high ceiling, think of floor to ceiling as the depth, and submarines can access a matchstick’s length from the ceiling.
Is that the Sargasso Triangle?
Havent read much about it.
