Yes, there were many poignant moments between Ronnie and Nancy. A true love match.
I noticed during the event (who failed to) and at first I thought, “I don’t know that I would show off something like that if they were store bought.” I still am a little old fashioned, I guess. I think those make for more of what would be considered “private entertainment”. Even at that I don’t think I would be impressed with the store bought variety.
I did a rotation in Plastic Surgery with some great surgeons who did unbelievable jobs with these, though, and I have to say, you could not tell they were store bought.
I only heard him take facts and put them in jokes, what's all the fuss?
I should have waited till HRC spoke. She was much worse as she had hatred oozing out of her pores.
I avoid confrontation when I can until I am pushed, so it’s not easy for me to watch someone else do it. But Trump was only telling the truth and exposing his former so-called friends and acquaintances for what they really are—which no doubt doesn’t include being lily-white. It has always bugged me that Republicans don’t fight back and what we need most is a fighter—and here he is. And I truly believe he is going to fight for everything and everybody and that he will appoint the very best people for each position—not some political hack or slimy donor. Hillary Clinton is an evil, corrupt, greedy, phony woman and she has to be brought down. Maybe she could run for Empress of Haiti.
I watched the entire tape with my husband this afternoon and finally saw Hillary. She is lower than a snake’s belly. This time I didn’t cringe at all. You certainly analyzed the situation brilliantly. I haven’t wavered in my support of Trump. In fact tonight he will be in Newtown PA, about 20 minutes from here. My husband and I are both over 80 and while we’re very active we do very little night driving. I wouldn’t be comfortable in that amount of traffic late at night on these dark country roads. Many of my younger friends and their husbands will be there so I will be getting first hand reports. I hope he’s flying into Trenton and not Philly. Traffic will probably be backed up to Princeton on the north side.
Hillary was clearly mad.
Maria was stunning and got a lot of positive comments on her show this morning.
Congratulations to both you and your husband, both of you filled with strength and wisdom. Over 80 deserves homage and great thanks be to GOD.
You are so articulate and a beautiful writer— a tribute to your education, wherever it was.
I am glad you observed Hillary last night. She was positively giddy with “joy”. It was a little unnerving. Was she hyped up, energized, or what!
Something is going on with her. I see her disembark a plane and she is in terrible shape, appearing overdue for a bath and shampoo, but mostly barely, barely able to navigate.
She pops up at the Dinner then and behaves like a social director for a cruise line. Go figure.
She would have run away with opinion last night, if TRUMP had not chewed her up and spit her out. She would have been seen as an extraordinarily good sport, vivacious, energized and capable.
TRUMP was a chess player last night to stop her queen, or else the grace of God moved him to cut a stinging offensive to block her from capitalizing on her 96% supportive audience.
Thanks for your observations.

Interesting. I was not aware of that. Thanks for the info. I`ll have to do some reading up on Horace Greely, a man I`ve heard of but about whom I don`t really know that much.
Yes she was so beautiful.
Will be nice to have Mrs.Trump be FLOTUS too.
No more Sasquatch! Hee Hee.
Oh, I didn’t know Maria had any “work” done.
That outfit was a bit much for worldwide TV. Better for a nightclub or private dinner/dancing date.
I bet Hitlery is still steaming mad at Trump. Ha Ha.
I was reading your post and thinking ‘what a lovely tribute to a freeper and where else would God be mentioned?’—when I realized you were replying to me! Thank you for your very kind words.
And just because one is over 80 on the outside is no reason to feel like 80 on the inside, altho it gets me in a bit of trouble sometimes..
Are you a writer by any chance? If not, I think you really need to start putting your gift for observation and expression down for others to read. I like your style.
You really captured Hillary. Don’t you wonder with all her money why she doesn’t she travel with a makeup artist, wardrobe consultant, personal trainer and a dietician—for starters? Some days she looks like something the cat dragged in. What woman in her position would even think of appearing in public without looking her absolute best?
Whoever is giving her wardrobe advice must really dislike her because some of her outfits are absolutely ludicrous—like the emperor with no clothes.
Does she even look in a mirror before she leaves her home?
Makes we wonder if someone is getting revenge on her.
There is a story here.
Trump is always absolutely impeccably dressed, no matter how many events he has in a day. (I don’t do hair!) It says he really cares about his appearance and how people perceive him.
.
Oh, I can see that a little age, blessing that it is, is of no effect on either your
bright mind, or your reason. Neither do I doubt such quickness might get one in the social clink now and then. LOL!
Hope your friends enjoyed the TRUMP rally.
As for Hillary, you encapsulate her grooming deficits very well yourself, and my own thoughts as well.
No, I am not a writer. I’m a reader. I like to write, and some days are better than others, but FR is good ground for us to express our selves. I am happy to hear you may have enjoyed some phrase or two of mine, though. Thank you.
Rita
I remember thinking during the dinner that I would not want to be a flunky when she gets out of the public eye afterwards.
Did you hear Rush? “Rackage!”. LOL. I feel sorry for the guy sitting next to her. How in the world did he keep his eyes off those for that whole time? His performance was, perhaps, the most impressive of the evening. How embarrassing would it have been to discover too late that the world had just spent an half hour watching you drool into that chasm! But he managed to comport himself very well and that kind of self control deserves recognition.
Ha Ha, yes any man sitting within view of that had great eye movement control if he was looking anyplace else. Maria has made herself more famous than before with one well-selected dress. I rarely see anyone at fancy events wear the long white gloves anymore. Was a classy touch. A throwback to the old days when the real Sophia Loren could slay them all with a dress. She is still doing OK as far as I know. Last movie I saw with her in was Grumpier Old Men.
My husband thought the funniest person in the camera shot of Trump, was the man to the right of our view, the balding man with the high forehead. The look on his face when Trump started throwing the hardballs at Hillary was great, wide eyed, mouth agape. That was his favorite reaction moment.
I just loved seeing Hillary finally be told the truth and have to sit there and take it.
I have to see that again. Like the video of her getting thrown into the van, I can’t see that enough either.
It’s not the social clink, it’s the 10’ stepladder I used to trim the top of a dogwood tree—done while my husband was out! We finally had it taken down. I’d hoped to keep mowing the lawn til I reached 80 but the heat and humidity did me in so we have that done—plus lawn care but I do all the rest. Including picking 425 tomatoes from 8 plants—I have witnesses! :) My roll model was a 96 year old lady who fell off the ladder while picking apples. (My husband had ours taken out!) My favorite quote is “It doesn’t matter how old you are, it’s how you are old”. It’s true.
Wasn’t it marvelous that Trump finally!! put out his plan for America today??!?? And in such a well-modulated, quiet voice—it was GREAT!
I’ll get the Trump report from my friends tomorrow at church.
Fascinating life. I see what you mean about the 10’ ladder. I thought your energy meant.. outspoken, and that being outspoken got you in trouble. HA!
I’m a talker—but I’ve learned to be a good listener and ask questions. You learn a lot about people that way!
About 4,000 Trump fans at the Newtown PA rally last night. Friends said the energy was unbelievable and when Trump touched the American flag people went crazy! Cars parked for miles along the roads—definitely a young crowd. Good news for our future.
